One Direction are still paying the price for thier Brit Awards gaffe with Capital FM failing to book them for thier hotly anticipated Summertime Ball.

The line-up for the Wembley Stadium gig was announced earlier today with Coldplay, Jessie J and Justin Bieber all securing a place. But band of the moment 1D fail to make an appearance on the line-up, supposedly due to their ongoing battle with the radio station following their mistake at the Brits.

The boyband were immediately banned from Capital FM and Heart FM’s playlists after they accidentally thanked Radio One while accepting a Brit award in February, the award was actually voted for by Capital listeners. According to information from the radio stations ‘Now Playing’ feeds, between February 22 and April 18 the station hadn’t played a single One Direction track.
